NongHyup Bank Expects Annual Cost Savings of ₩42.6 Billion with RPA Implementation
NH NongHyup Bank anticipates significant annual cost savings through the implementation of its Robotic Process Automation (RPA) system. On October 28, 2025, NongHyup Bank announced the '2025 RPA Big League' awards ceremony held at its headquarters on the 27th, emphasizing the efficiency of the RPA system. This ceremony was part of an effort to discover business automation ideas using RPA technology and apply them to actual work to improve productivity.
NongHyup Bank plans to support its employees in focusing on more creative and valuable tasks by automating simple and repetitive tasks through the RPA system. This is expected to maximize work efficiency and contribute to improving customer service quality. In particular, the RPA system is expected to be highly effective in reducing human errors and improving processing speed by automating repetitive tasks such as data entry, document processing, and report writing.
A total of 39 tasks were discovered in the '2025 RPA Big League,' and these tasks are currently undergoing testing and are scheduled to be applied to practical work within the year. NongHyup Bank estimates that it can save approximately ₩42.6 billion in annual operating costs through these tasks. This is expected to greatly improve NongHyup Bank's management efficiency and positively impact the provision of more convenient and faster financial services to customers.
