Million-Subscriber YouTuber Attack: Suspects Jailed Amid Court's 'Flight Risk' Concerns
Two men in their 20s and 30s have been jailed on suspicion of attempted murder against a well-known YouTuber with one million subscribers. The Incheon Yeonsu Police Station announced on October 30, 2025, that it had arrested Mr. A and another man on charges including attempted murder and joint confinement. The two suspects appeared at the Incheon District Court on October 29, 2025, for a pre-arrest warrant hearing. The incident occurred between 10:35 PM and 10:40 PM on October 26, 2025. Mr. A and his accomplice are accused of abducting and assaulting YouTuber Mr. B, in his 30s, in the underground parking garage of an apartment building in Songdo-dong, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. Victim Mr. B is reportedly a popular YouTuber with around one million subscribers.
According to police investigations, Mr. A and his group allegedly transported Mr. B in a vehicle to Geumsan-gun, Chungcheongnam-do, approximately 200km away. After receiving a report from Mr. B, the police immediately tracked the vehicle and successfully apprehended Mr. A and his accomplice as they committed the crime in Geumsan-gun, Chungnam, approximately four hours after the incident.
Mr. B sustained severe injuries to his face as a result of the assault but is fortunately not in life-threatening condition. In the course of investigating the exact circumstances of the case, police discovered a financial dispute between Mr. A's group and Mr. B.
